House Rules

Thank you in advance for respecting our home and property. These rules ensure safety and a great stay for all: • Booking Guest Responsibility: The primary guest (25+years old) is responsible for the entire group and must share these rules with everyone. • No Unauthorized Visitors/Parties: Only registered guests are allowed on the property. • No Smoking Indoors. • No Pets: Service dogs must be disclosed and approved before check-in. • Children Supervision: Children must be supervised at all times, indoors and outdoors. • Barn/Corral: No entry without caretakers present. But feel free to visit anytime from dawn to dusk. • Pool House: No lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk. Slippery when wet/ no running-No glass containers allowed. • Cleanliness: Remove all food and garbage before checkout (see simple checkout instructions). • Outdoor Use: Trails and barnyard are open dawn–dusk, at your own risk. • Lost Items: We are not responsible for belongings left behind—please double-check before departure. ⚠️ Disregarding these rules may result in charges of at least one night’s stay

My family and I just spent a week at the Retreat House and it was perfect. The house was spacious enough to accommodate the 12 of us. The pool was crystal clear and the perfect temperature. The caretakers were helpful and discreet. They were there to greet us when we arrived and gave us a guided tour and explained the house and its history. The house and the experience was more than we expected and look forward to coming back in the future.

What a phenomenal experience - this is a great place for a large group. There is so much to do on the property that you don’t really have to go anywhere but the location is quite convenient if you do decide to leave. The hosts and on site caretakers were extremely friendly, proactive and helpful which really set my mind at ease allowing us to fully enjoy the weekend. Thanks so much!

This was our 4th winter visit to the Retreat House and the first after the renovations. We loved it before and love it even more now. We typically stay with 10-15 people, adults and kids. There is always plenty of room and lots of fun and relaxing to be had. The indoor pool is very special, and the new game room and gym were big hits with all. We can’t wait for the next time!

The Retreat House was a great getaway for our large group who were looking for a quiet weekend away. While the temperature outside felt like -24 degrees, there was so much to do inside the home plus the outdoor fire pit! Ample space for the 10 adults on our trip, the pool was great and both Andrea the host and Nevele the caretaker were proactive, communicative, friendly and super helpful. Overall we had a wonderful time, would recommend this to other large groups and would love to come back if we’re ever in the area again!

Our stay from January 17th-19th included 8 adults 6 kids and 1 infant. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms spread throughout the large house. There is a loft with four beds that we didn't use which left room for additional guests. The pictures shown in the listing are exactly how they look in person! The pool is amazing with plenty of towels for all. There is a washer and dryer will plenty of washer pods. The dishwasher also included pods. All the bathrooms have towels, soap, hair products, lotion etc. The kitchen has tons of utensils, pots, pans, glassware etc. Cleanliness? Not an issue - everything is immaculate. The property does indeed have farm animals, right in the backyard. There's 128 acres of property with a wonderful trail. What separates this property from any Airbnb we've experienced are the onsite caretakers. Nevele and Simon, who are located attached to the home but separate from guests. We communicated effortlessly with Nevele who was amazingly helpful! Thank you!

Amazing place. We were a group of 8 adults and 4 kids, and had a lot of fun. The house as shown in the photos, the caretakers were responsive and extremely helpful. The pool was superb and the ability to adjust temperature was very welcome. Overall, a really enjoyable experience

My family and I had a wonderful and memorable stay at the retreat house, we’ve already began to discuss when will be able to come back! This house is not only incredible, but the caretakers and hospitality was truly above and beyond. The home is incredibly spacious, very neat and clean, and offers so much to do! Our first day of our trip we unfortunately had a lot of rain, but that did not stop any of our fun. We were able to explore all that the house has to offer, including the arcade/ game room as well as the indoor swimming pool and gym! We also really enjoyed the nature walk nearby. Throughout our stay, the caretakers on the property, Simon & Nevele, were incredibly friendly and helpful in so many ways. They helped us to get our fire pit started, answered all of our questions and even allowed us to feed the animals on the property. We enjoyed every second and I would absolutely recommend this for large groups looking to spend quality time together. We are so excited to come back!
